This is a sub adult Salmon Pink Birdeater that I purchased from Virginia Cheeseman (www.virginiacheeseman.co.uk) in September of last year. It is unsexed, but from Virginia herself, is almost certainly believed to be a female. The age provided is an estimate.
She has a voracious appetite and can be feisty and slightly defensive for a Salmon Pink (see the dry threat pose in one of the images. This was when I went to change her water!), in contrast to some of my other new world species. This will however make for entertainment for some of the more experienced keepers.
I am selling her / him due to having a wishlist that I want to complete, and I have been given a limit on the amount I can own by an extremely understanding but arachnophobic partner!
If you buy with the tank, this does have a sticker with her species name, along with the species information, in addition to the name we gave her - Maggie T!
There are 3 options for sale.
Collection without tank (I have a plastic container and will have her ready if this option is selected - £40.
Collection with Pawhut Glass 50x30x25cm tank - £70 (tank was £55 brand new from Amazon in October last year, and is in pristine condition).
Postage - £50 ( this includes £10.00 for postage). If this option is selected, I will provide you with full tracking details before posting.
The price reflects the fact that this species are common in the trade, and because she is slightly feisty, and I can't complete my wishlist until she is gone!
