It absolutely breaks my heart to even be writing this post, but with careful thought and consideration, I want to give my boy a proper chance. I have decided to rehome due to unforeseen circumstances and absolutely no fault of his own, and would love for Casper to be looked after by a family/owner who can offer him the full commitment he truly deserves.
Meet Casper, my beautiful pup. He has excellent temperament, he is brilliant around children and other dogs. He is fine around cats too, he is still learning how to play gently with them. He has been well socialised since the age of 8 weeks, so he’s the best company to bring to a dog-friendly cafe/pub.
List of training & qualities:
He is somewhat house-trained, we’ve been living in a large appointment so he has had a designated potty, however, he can also just use the toilet outdoors whenever he needs.
He is crate- trained, he knows the word “crate” and he will go into his crate. He will happily stay there for a few hours and will only whine when he needs the toilet.
He is comfortable with car journeys too.
He knows “fetch” when playing with a tennis bowl and will only get distracted when there’s a football around- he LOVES those!
Knows the following commands: sit, stay, spin, lay down
Comfortable and excitable to meet new people with zero signs of aggression
He is a big softy and needs a lot of love and attention that I unfortunately will no longer be able to give him.
He is also:
- Fully vaccinated
- microchipped
- worked and fled
I would love for him to go to someone who knows about the GSD breed, or has had experience with large breeds and has the time for my boy.
