Description
I am in the very sad position of having to rehome these two beautiful bengal cats. Thor a 4 year old brown spotted male and Silver a 6 year old silver spotted female. I offered to rehome them a year ago from someone who was moving but couldn’t take them with her. I love cats and usually have several at a time. I have never failed to integrate new cats into the household. However I have reluctantly had to accept that I have failed in this case. Thor and one of my original cats have taken an extreme dislike to each other with several serious fights resulting in injuries needing visits to the vet for each of them. I have had to keep them separated which is logistically difficult and not really fair to either of them. At the moment the 2 bengals live in the living room and the dining room and the other cats have the rest of the house. Thor is a very loving cat. He loves people contact and sits on my lap whenever possible. He loves strokes and even allows tummy rubs. He is a gentle cat. I hate to do this to him but it is really impractical for me to continue to live in a two tier household. Silver is more timid and it takes a while to gain her trust. She doesn’t like to be picked up and will run away if she thinks you will pick her up. However in time she will allow you to stroke her especially if you catch her when she is eating. She will sit in the same room as you nearby but is not a lap cat. She too is gentle and if you do manage to catch her for medication etc. she is very gentle and docile. Thor and silver are a bonded pair and will cry if they are separated so they must be rehomed together preferably where there are no other cats. I have dna tests for both of them showing bengal breed and no heritable diseases. Price is for the pair.
