Marley is a wonderful, handsome boy who was rescued from the pound by one of the shelters we work with. He’d been waiting there a year with no opportunity of finding a home so they wanted to help him find a new life. He was left there by his hunter who no longer wanted him and only had one eye.
Nobody knows what happened to his other eye but he lives a completely normal life, dogs cope very well with limited vision. We think he’s been mistreated and beaten so it takes him a little while to warm up to people but once he does, he is a wonderful, sweet and affectionate boy.
He arrived at the shelter very sad and didn’t want to leave his kennel but in just a few days, his true character started to shine through and he’s already a completely different dog who would continue to thrive in a home.
He is happy and cheerful and love to play with other dogs and get a big fuss made of him from humans. He would ideally love to live in a home with another dog and can also live with cats.
