So we are putting a note on here.
Sam has a special little girl visiting this morning, who needs and deserves his skills. I'm 90% certain he will be going home with her today. I'm sorry this will disappoint so many of you.
Thank you all for your interest and to the lovely community on this platform. You have always been wonderful over the last 10yrs. I wish you all good luck in find your ideal companion. Don't give up hope, there's always a reason for every fail, because there's a happy tail, and a better fit coming. This little girl was badly let down 3 days ago as well on the day of pickup. However Sam is a far better fit and better trained. As you get older you look back and it's true, delays, messing about, to difficult... yet when it right, its just so easy and smooth. Turns out just better for you.
So please just hold in there it will happen when it's ready.

Sam is a very special dog, 5yrs 1 month old. He far exceeds his breeds standard. Calm, flexible, stoic, low energy, only barks to warn of someone present or a strange noise after dark. No fear of fire works. Relaxed and calm. He has to be pushed hard to bite, and then it's 30% power increasing by 5% each time.
He is okay with children as long as respect is given.
I have trained him to be a companion dog, I spent 3yrs bed bound. He spent every day with me. Happy with a garden visit and no walks. He **** in cars, happy to meet new people. Walk with walking stick. I have taken him on hotel visits, 320 mile car trips 6hrs long with the roof down. A pub full of people and fuss given... he takes it all in his strip.
If he is with you and you have love and trust. Sam will be happy and full of love.
Sam has no set routine he doesn't need one, I don't have one. He is left alone far to much.
I am still disabled, but I am out more. My wife past 2yrs ago. So when I'm ill I don't have a back up. His needs aren't met.
I'm ashamed to waste his rare skills in looking after his human. He doesn't care about your limits he will love on you, cuddle and look after you.
I don't need this anymore. However he does, he misses me and is feeling under used. I know how hard it is to find a low energy dog without all the other stuff.
Sam cost ₤19 month pet club and has all his jabs and treatment.
I wash and clip him myself, he has zero bad habits. Gently and happy to be... if he loves you you are very lucky. He even loved my wife, their relationship was different but what she wanted.
Sam is far from normal. He is looking for a good home. Ready to work and care for someone who needs him.
