Incredible young dog with amples of attitude to Learn and please for the right person, due to unfortunate circumstance I’m having to rehome my gorgeous girl Nala.
She was a rescue who has suffered a lot in her previous life which has had a detrimental effect on her emotional well being despite being in my care for just under two years. During this time I have worked on house training, basic commands, advanced commands, obedience training to a low level as well as socialisation with animals, people buses cars etc, you name it I have done it with this girl, however her behaviour has relapsed in the past year due to an incident with a man who tried to force entry into my home in which she defended me with her everything but it has greatly disturbed the safe space I had worked so hard towards creating and implementing. Since this incident her behaviour has reverted back to the puppy that I received if not worse and everything I’m trying with her is to no avail, this has caused a huge impact on my mental health as well as her own anxiety and is now greatly affecting my other other dog who is generally very patient and kind.
Despite the current bad she is an exceptional young dog with bundles of potential for a responsible person or couple with a lifestyle that would be able to accommodate such an animal.
I cannot allow her to be rehomed with any other domestic animals such as cats, dogs, rabbits, birds or Guineas as she has high prey drive and is very jealous and heavily resource guards her treats/toys.
She will also not be suited to a home with children (under the age of 18) due to the fact she has a bite history (incident mentioned) and must be muzzled when in public spaces for her own safety
There’s much to this beautiful dog and I will simply not just rehome her to anyone, homes will be vetted by myself personally and I’ll need to see references/proof of experience with a dog of this calibre and there will be a contract in place to ensure she is not passed around.
