Hi,
We adopted Frank 3 years ago when his previous owner’s circumstances changed.
I won’t sugar coat it, we were his 3rd owners in just under 3 years and he does struggle with separation anxiety at times.
We recently had another child and he has become jealous towards the baby and therefore it’s unfair for him and the child.
He is not an aggressive dog, just tries to jump up and due to his size is unsafe.
He is fine with older children and all adults as long as they give him some attention.
He also has allergies which is common with pure bred bulldogs. Franks being he cannot have Chicken, Turkey or Grain. We found a good dried food to eliminate the allergies and the follow up smells!
He loves a walk and will go further than you would imagine, pulls on lead at first but soon calms down. I also feel confident with him off lead when suitable, he won’t stray far from your side.
Overall Franks a loving caring dog and will be missed, however it’s unfair on him and the baby as they have to be separate at all times so franks often in a different room in the day which does not help his anxiety.
Ideal adoptee will be someone who has time for him and home a lot as he will thrive.
