Marlowe is a 4-year-old girl who adores cuddles and companionship. She’s a true sweetheart who loves nothing more than snuggling on the sofa or bed, lounging by the fire, enjoying peaceful walks in the woods, and running freely on the beach. She’s incredibly loyal and loves to be wherever you are – she’ll happily follow you around the house just to be near you.
Everyone who meets her falls in love with her affectionate, loyal nature. She’s the perfect match for someone looking for a loving companion who enjoys both relaxing at home and getting out for walks in nature.
About Her:
Affectionate – she thrives on love and cuddles.
Playful and energetic – she still has that fun, puppy-like spirit.
Confident most of the time but can be a little nervous in some situations.
What She Needs
No cats – she cannot be placed in a home with cats.
A countryside home with plenty of space to run and explore. She would not suit a home in a town or city, as she needs peaceful surroundings and room to roam.
A calm and patient environment – she can be nervous with certain noises, dislikes storms, wind, and is afraid of fireworks.
Someone who will appreciate her affectionate nature and want to spend lots of time with her.
She can bark or get a little overexcited when new people arrive, but settles quickly. She has always been in a busy home with lots of guests, but could perhaps suit a quieter home.
Training & Behavior:
Knows all the basics: sit, stay, twist, paw, and lie down.
Her recall has improved a lot, though if she finds a dog she loves, she may take some persuading to come back!
Should always be kept on a lead around livestock.
Dogs: Generally good with other dogs but occasionally comes across one she doesn’t like.
Travel & Everyday Life:
She’s okay in the car but doesn’t love it. She will need to be lifted in as she will not jump in if it's high.
Eats dry food throughout the day (we can share the brand she’s done well on) and sometimes gets wet food when needed.
Loves a routine where she can feel safe and secure.
