Meet Loki, “Loki is a typical pup and can be mouthy when he becomes overexcited or wants to play. He has not yet learnt boundaries and will need training in his new home to overcome this. He will also need a very active home who can keep his mind and body busy and keep him mentally stimulated to prevent these behaviours.
Loki is a very friendly and happy boy with new people he meets however he can become very overexcited and boisterous around them which can be too much for most people. Loki will need firm boundaries in place surrounding visitors to teach him positive interactions” 💞
Loki currently shares his home with children 8+ however they can be nervous of him due to his mouthing behaviours, he can therefore share his home with Confident children aged 14+ 👶
Loki has not shared his home with another dog since being in the UK however, he was good with them in Romania. It is felt that Loki would like another very playful dog in the home to help burn off this energy, we would consider a dog free home for someone who is very active 🐾
Loki does accept a collar, harness and lead. He can get very excited and doesn't want to sit still to put the lead on, his owners now take him into the garden to put this on which seems to calm him. Loki can be strong on the lead and does pull. Loki loves the beach and paddling along in the water, he does remain on the lead at all times as his recall can be selective especially with other dogs around 🐕🦺
Loki has never been around cats 🐈
Loki is toilet trained and crate trained. He can be left alone for up to 4 hours and sleeps well overnight. He does suffer with travel sickness. Loki has shown some guarding behaviours around high value items he has stolen around the house.
“He can be fussy with food, he loves all meats and cheese but does not like rice. He doesn’t know how to fetch yet but he does know basic commands sit/stay/ lie down and paw” 💞
