Welcome to Isobelle’s first ever litter of puppies. She recently ****ed 8 gorgeous, healthy, strong and intelligent pups (in early March 2025) which include 3 strapping, handsome boys and 5 powerfully built, pretty girls. All are developing as they should, flourishing and getting bigger and busier, and more confident each day.
NB. The puppies will be ready to join their new forever homes by the 28th April 2025 at 8 wks old.
Issy is KC Reg. She is a super, caring and most attentive new Mum. She has adapted well to the demands of motherhood. She is a happy, friendly, very pretty well-socialised girl, full of energy with a great lust for life. We love her dearly, she’s a much-valued family member, easy and eager to please and a girl who loves nothing as much as a good walk, fetching sticks, or a swim (if the opportunity presents itself) in our lovely Coastal county of Pembrokeshire in Wales. She is truly a water-baby. She loves a walk in the nearby hills.
She has the kindest, lovely nature. She loves a cuddle and is blessed with a strong sense of fun (typical of golden retrievers… LoL). She lives in the house with us, as does her mother, who you will meet if you come to meet us and our litter. The litter is used to all of the usual noises and comings and going’s and humdrum of the typical modern household.
Issy enjoys her evenings in a leisurely fashion, usually snoozing and hogging the best spot by the log burner (or the cooker), with Mum beside her, vying for poll position, relaxing and watching TV with us.
I have reared Issy (and her Mum and Grandmother) myself. I have a very occassional litter of golden retriever puppies. I have shared my adult life and home (and multiple vacuum cleaners) with our goldens for over 20 years. They are great company, being much-loved, precious members of our family and household.
Issy’s line has been well bred by my family and I, since 1988. It’s been a great privilege to have been part of that journey, culminating in this super litter.
The puppies have been reared by me, and my husband, always with these principles in mind, to produce dogs with sustained good health, sound temperament, and great looks.
Issy is excellent around children, little ones, she’s energetic but careful, intelligent, very friendly and sociable. She is good with other dogs and enjoys the company of other people.
Max, (KC Reg. Name: Midnight Snow) father to this litter, is a good-looking, powerful, fit and healthy chap. He is very gentle in nature with a kind, calm soul.
These traits are starting to shine through in the puppies. Max has a good hip-score of 12. Both of Issy’s parents also have a hip-score of 12.
Issy is BVA eye-tested, results - clear/ unaffected. Her next eye test will be in July.
These health test results can be viewed on the UK KC website, I have the certification for Issy, which you may inspect when viewing the puppies.
Max and Issy are beautiful, fit, healthy, and friendly examples of traditional Golden Retrievers. They conform well to the British Breed Standard.
Issy’s ancestry includes many champions. Her family tree is also available on the UK KC website/register. She is descended from well-respected, traditional and fabulous lines namely Trebettyn and Dasmaks, Stanroph, Bridgefarm and Nortonwood, which feature extensively within Issy’s 5 Generation Pedigree.
I do my very best to ensure that my dogs are reared on and fed good quality, reputable dried food daily, and they enjoy a varied diet which includes fresh natural ingredients that I prepare for them according to their needs and likes. NB. The puppies will be fully weaned by 8 weeks old.
The puppies are developing well, currently achieving their developmental milestones naturally and at their own pace, and with ease. They are growing into a confident, friendly, very affectionate and loving, inquisitive bunch, which isapparent in their family and ancestors, and in Issy’s siblings and litter mates (See photo’s).
My puppies also share one more very important factor, they not only look alike, they are adored by their owners and passers-by, everywhere they go. They are distinctive in their beauty. I have included a few photos very kindly shared with me by their owners. So, this should give you an idea of how these pups will look as they mature. To date, my puppies have looked very alike, with show-stopper good looks.
Issy has fabulous, healthy siblings (See photos), some of whom have achieved the Good Citizen Award.
By 8 weeks old (End of April, 2025), the puppies will be/have :-
1. Been treated regularly for worms
(using Panacur Worming Syrup at
2, 5 and 8wks old.
They will have a de-flea treatment if needed (usually Frontline).
2. Had their 1st vacc. (Plus a Vet
health Check at 7-8 wks old).
3. Microchipped
4. UK KC registered.
The Puppies will also come with the following paperwork:
1. KC Reg Certificate /change of
ownership papers.
2. 5 weeks’ free insurance.
3. Medical card from our Vet with
medical/vaccn. details.
4. Puppy Pack with comprehensive
diet and feeding guidance sheets.
5. Food and drink - enough for a few
days.
6. Toy & blanket with Mum’s scent
(and the litter’s scent) to help your
puppy adjust to your home.
