I am in desperate need of a wonderful home for my dog Neo. He is a delightful and calm boy who loves nothing more than a snuggle on the sofa or in bed. He is good on walks and is dog friendly (though can be scared of some bigger dogs). He can’t live with cats but used to live with rabbits. He currently lives with a 1 year old but would better suit a house with no children (though would probably be fine with older, calm 12+ children). He has a big bark and runs to the door barking when someone arrives, although is very friendly and calms down as soon as they say hi. Since moving out of a bigger family home with other dogs, Neo is experiencing separation anxiety so he needs a home where someone is in all the time and who can work on this. He will likely be better with other dogs as he used to be fine being left. Unfortunately, I’ve had a massive loss of income which is forcing me to work immediately so I don’t have the time to train him. I also study full time so will end up being out of the house more than is fair to leave him. Neo has a few health issues (mild hip dysplasia and has had a one off seizure) so he needs a family who are prepared to take this on. He is a sensitive boy so needs a home who will understand and support his anxiety, but this sensitivity makes him a wonderful friend and emotional support. I have contacted 40 rescues but because of the issues listed above, they won’t help him and I am running out of time so please, if you think you can offer him a home then message me giving me a bit of information about your household and schedule etc. I will be thorough as he is my best friend and he deserves the best. We are based in North Herts but can travel.
Neo is 6 years old, he is a neutered labradoodle and is up to date on vaccinations, working and flea.
