I am no fish expert! There are guppies, rummy something and maybe neon tetra. The guppies are happily breeding. There are also shrimp. They were breeding well too. The green is driving me crazy. Its fine if I scrape it off the water isn't actually green but the algae grown so quick on the side even with all the shrimp. Probably needs someone who knows what they are doing. Comes with little hides and fake plants, heater and filter as well as light. We have had it for a couple of years.
