18 Beautiful healthy unsexed mixed breed Chicks available. They are around 4 weeks old and are hatched from our own chicken flock.
We have a wide range of species including various bantams and a few different strains of silkie, among other varieties. As our chickens free range together, we are unable to guarantee specific varieties and they are sold as mixed. You are of couse welcome to pick out the ones that you would like.
No longer on heat but they are still being kept in a warm place at room temperature, will need to be kept in a warm place / indoors until they are larger at this time of year. If keeping in a cold garage etc then they may need additional heating at this time of year as they are still quite young. Collection only, however can drop off locally at a cost of 50p per mile each way
We have various breeds of chicken and have a full range of different colour eggs including olive eggs, cannot guarantee exact breeds as our chickens all live and free range together as one large group.
We would recommend a group of at least 3 and ideally 4 or 5+ where space allows if you don't have existing chickens. Even more important at this time of year when they will huddle up to keep eachother warm, bearing in mind that these are still young chicks and not adult chickens. We will not sell individual chicks as it is not fair on them. The chicks will need to be kept away from adults until they are larger.

Hatching Eggs also available at £3 a box, and we also do have some 1 week old chicks which are priced at £6 each but do require additional heat etc.
