Description
Beautiful Neo is ready to find his very special forever home. We are looking for that wonderful home that will give a sweet old boy a chance at the forever family he has never had. Neo's dream is to find a forever family that will offer him a sofa where he can spend his golden years snoozing and snuggling up next to his wonderful humans. Neo enjoys his clicker training, and loves his food, but the thing he enjoys the most is being safe and comfortable with his foster parents by his side. When he is being petted there are none stop purrs of contenment. Neo has had to have both eyes removed due to ongoing complications with them (likely caused by whatever made him go suddenly blind in the first place). Since his eye removal, Neo has been a very happy and confident boy. He has also had a full dental to remove any damaged or decaying teeth. As Neo is an older boy, he suffers with arthritis. He is receiving Gabapentin for pain relief. This is an ongoing treatment, and we would be happy to talk with any potential adopters about financial plans and assistance with the costs if needed. History: Neo was found stumbling into the bumper of a car, very confused and with bright white eyes. The owner of the car took him to a vet practice, who gave him the name Bumper. The vets discovered that Neo was almost completely blind. He was very scared and confused, so his blindness must have happened very suddenly. Based on his condition, they thought he had been straying for a while. He was only found when he couldn’t see where he was going! The vets searched for a rescue space, but were coming up short. When we were contacted, we knew we had to give him a chance or he would be put to sleep. So we shuffled space around and brought him into our care. Info: Neo has been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. He has tested negative for FIV and FeLV and has been treated for parasites. Neo will require ongoing care for his arthritis. He comes with 5 weeks free insurance! If you think you can offer this special boy a forever home, please visit our website and fill out our pre-adoption application form: https://www.silthssanctuary.co.uk/ If you have any questions at all, please message us!
