Maisie is a 5/6 month old puppy, whose father was a Labrador and mother was a smaller black dog. Maisie resembles her mother more, and is likely to be on the small side of medium. She would love doggy friends in her home, and could live with dog savvy children.
We don't know about cats, but due to her age we think she could adapt, pending well managed introductions to resident cats.
Maisie is an absolutely gorgeous girl, who is being fostered in a home with 8 other dogs. Her foster mum provides doggy daycare and home boarding so she is being well socialised. She's amazing with the other dogs.
This lovely lady enjoys her playtime with other dogs, but she also happily chills with them too, and with her hoomans too. Maisie loves melting into you for a cuddle, like a little baby, and when she falls asleep on your lap it's the most incredible feeling!
At first, Maisie is a little cautious of new friends. However, it isn't long before you can make friends with her - merely minutes! She is a self assured and sweet girl.
Maisie share her toys with other dogs, and eats well beside them too. She's very good when taking treats - no snatching.
Her trips in the car have gone well, and she travels nicely. She's only a puppy, and so is learning to be toilet trained in the home, and is doing very well. Her lead walk training is also work in progress, but she's getting there.
In all, Maisie is a wonderful girl who will make the most amazing family dog. She'd love other dogs in her life. If this wasn't possible in the home, we'd hope she'd have doggy friends she could make and regularly see.
