FOR ADOPTION - SENKA- SOUTHAMPTON
Meet SENKA , she is a 10 month old shollie (German shepherd /collie )
Senka is a bright, intelligent and loving girl. She absolutely loves training and picks up and retains tricks and skills (with linked words or actions) incredibly quickly.�She needs a lot of stimulation and attention and would benefit from a training programme , access to agility training or to be used as a working dog which would make the most of her natural abilities. She has a great line of sight and is already getting very skilled at catching, and sniffing things out.
Senka loves attention, strokes and loves a cuddle on the sofa. Senka enjoys a lot of interaction in the home. She prefers to be in your company and the same room as people in the house when they are in. She engages well in play and training and provided she has had enough stimulation throughout her day she will settle for naps and relax when in the home.
She can be left alone quietly for up to 5 hours.
Senka loves to spend time in the garden. Sometimes she asks to go outside just to be outside and will happily explore, run around the garden and play by herself if out there alone.
SENKA is house trained and sleeps all night in her crate
She currently lives with children but can become over excited if they run or make loud noises so for what reason she can be rehomed with children 10 years and up.
She lives with cats and wants to chase and play with them.
SENKA loves her walks especially woods where she can enjoy the different scents. SENKA loves other dogs but can become over aroused in chase and play. She is dog focused when out
SENKA can be a little nervous of traffic but ongoing training can help her with.
She enjoys meeting new people and is very friendly
SENKA can resource guard items in the home if dropped on the floor and high value chews which can be managed (training advice given ) most of the time this will be down to boredom
Due to her breed SENKA needs to be with a family who are active , she will require at least one hours walk a day
Due to her resource guarding she would be better homed as an only dog.
