Both cockatiels were brought as hand reared birds so a bit more expensive than a non hand reared bird but definitely worth the extra money for hand reared. The grey and white we think is male,was born around start of March 2024. He makes many noises and whistles a lot he can make the phone ringing tone also. Very friendly lives people and attention. Will always like to come and sit with you,especially if you have food. His friend the yellow bird we think is female was born around the start of June 2024. Unfortunately the grey bird took a liking to plucking out her head feathers so she doesn’t have have many Mohawk feathers and is quite bold on top of her head. For this reason we have separate cahges for them now but he still manages to get to them when they are out the cage together. Other than this they both love to be together and the yellow one will still follow the grey one around. The yellow bird is a bit more shy. She will happily sit on you on her terms
But doesn’t always like to step up if you try to get her. She’s not a verbal as the grey one but she is younger. They like to come out of their cages through the day to fly around. See less
