Our boy Nor was found on the side of the road standing over the body of his deceased friend. Both had collars with the remains of a chain on. His friend had been hit by a car and Nor wouldn’t leave her side. Thankfully a kind lady here in the uk offered him a foster so our rescuer was able to take him in and prepare him for travel.
This is what his foster mum says about him:
Nor is house-trained, very good boy, obedient & learning to walk nicely on lead. Despite being abused, mistreated & abandoned, that didn’t break his spirit & he knows not all humans want to be cruel to him. He is affectionate & loves cuddles. Even though he has been severely underfed, he takes a treat very gently when given. He is curious & loves to explore. He is good around other dogs, and is friendly when strangers come & say hello on walks. He has shown no aggression whatsoever. He has very expressive eyes, and looking into them melts your heart- you can see he just wants to be loved! He likes a soft comfy place to sleep. The concrete cell he was in before gave him sores on the joints of his legs. He is just beautiful & perfect. You could also point out he had to get his coat shaved off due to the bad condition he was in, but now it will grow back healthy. He is desperate for a family who will love him forever & give him the happy life he deserves. He loves the company of people. He is very calm and chilled.
Nor is currently 36kgs but a good healthy weight should be closer to 40kgs.
We believe Nor has mioritic Romanian shepherd in him so anyone interested in adopting him should have a read up on the breed.
