We are looking for a very specific type of home for Ralph.
He is a really nice boy who is in foster care where he has been very affectionate and couldn’t be any better behaved.
He has come into rescue after being rehomed from his home where he was from 8 weeks old. Since being rehomed he has gone to bite when being picked up to be put in the bath. He was fine in his long term home being bathed and also at the groomers but he didn’t enjoy the groomers nor the bath in his new home.
To start he was very worried in his foster home but he has not once shown any signs of aggression, in fact quite the opposite. He enjoys being groomed
Within a couple of days he was a happy boy, very affectionate and very happy to do whatever was asked of him.
He is getting along well with other dogs, he isn’t living with cats
Due to his recent history we cannot rehome with children and we are looking for a home where someone has a lot of time to spend with him, ideally someone retired who is experienced with dogs. We don’t believe that Teddy is aggressive in the slightest, he is actually incredibly loving, but he is a little confused by recent events.
His foster home said they have not once felt that he is in any way aggressive even when worried at the start.
We are happy to chat to anyone who feels that they may be the right home for him and explain fully the circumstances that led to Teddy ending up with us
He travels well in the car and he is very good on a lead
All of our animals are cared for in foster homes until they find their forever homes, this gives them time to adjust if they have lived in an outdoor environment.
All of our animals come with 7 days worth of food and 5 weeks insurance from Agria Pet Insurance, as-well as lifetime Rescue Backup. Microchip transfer is completed by us.
Adoption is subject to a home check and adoption contract. In some instances an initial home check may be able to be completed via video call.
Once we have received your application someone will be in touch to discuss her and arrange a home check if you would like to proceed.
If an application is not successful on this occasion we will contact you to ask if you would like to be placed on our waiting list.
