After a lot of thought and a very heavy heart, we believe it be best to rehome Arthur our Jack Russell.
Arthur is a happy, energetic young man, that loves playing fetch and catch in the garden, long walks over our local park and cuddles at bed time. He walks great on his lead and is friendly to every dog that comes to greet him. He would be a great addition to a loving home.
We are a family that consists of 2 young children which Arthur can get overstimulated by, this then can lead to aggression. This is the main reason for rehoming. Because of this I will not feel comfortable rehoming him in a home with children.
He is mostly toilet trained which for the most part ensures Arthur does let you know that he needs to go outside for the toilet, with that said, additional toilet training would not go a miss.
I feel arthur would be best rehomed with a household that has experience with the breed, that can put in the time and effort into training him into the perfect dog I know he is capable of.
We are extremely sad to have to rehome him as we really love him but feel this is the best decision for Arthur.
