Humphrey is a beautiful 5 year old miniature dachshund, he is a very loved member of our family but sadly we are looking to find him a new home as he has recently not been getting along with our other dog and has had two fights. We believe this could be due to him being sensitive to changes within the house as I am currently pregnant and he may stressed by the new arrival :( humphrey is the better behaved of our two daschunds and we think he would settle in to a new home better than our other dog.
Humphrey is the best snuggler and loves to be on someone's lap, he would need to be the only dog in the house (due to the fighting) and he'd love to get lots of attention.
We always walk humphrey on the lead as he does not like other dogs coming close to him on walks, he will walk past them quietly usually but if they approach him he will lunge and bark as many daschunds do. Humphrey has lived with children without any issues but they are now over 10 years old and would not rehome humphrey in to a home with small children purely due to not knowing how he'd react with new small children. Humphrey is house trained and is used to a garden so it is preferred that his new home also has a garden, he does need lots of encouragement to go to the toilet outside if it's raining though! And he doesn't like being walked in the rain either.
Humphrey is chipped, neutered, healthy and up to date with his vaccinations and flea and worm treatments.
