High drive, responsive, confident working dog. Proven in the field, proving himself to be a valuable asset to my picking up team. Picked up from land/water and will cover any terrain. He’s a strong, powerful athletic dog with great stamina. Soft mouth, very impressive nose and incredibly steady. He was off lead for most drives this season and waits patiently and quietly when another dog is sent for a retrieve.
Homebred. His mother (small black bitch in photo) is 9.6kg and he is 15kg. Jupe was extremely easy to train, always wanting to please and has a passion for retrieving. I’ll be lucky to have another cocker as easy to train as him.
Sharp on the whistle and takes direction. We are aiming to do some tests this year but this dog is a very impressive working dog in the field nonetheless.
Gorgeous dark red in colour. Sire is choc and tan so may well carry the tan gene.
Although Jupe is a young dog, he has shown
masses of potential and oozes presence.
DNA health tested clear for:
FN, PRCD, PRCD cord 1, AMS, PP
BVA eye tested clear
Gonioscopy clear (grade 1)
