ARE you looking for an adorable, friendly, affordable, healthy, calm & easy pet foal- therapy pony, kids lead rein or riding pony project? Look no further. Benny is a well-loved, well-handled, well-trained but not spoiled 6+ months old Welsh rescue colt. Needs some grass & more muscles but a nice size size. Biggest mare in the field was around 15hh & he was the biggest of the bunch. His sire was likely 112-11.2hh, so no size guarantees.
Anyone's guess what size he'll make.
In any case likely good size & right nature for a kids' pony.
If he makes any bigger person can take it as a bonus.
Sadly owners died, but they sure bred their Welsh for good nature.
Weaned & been through isolation period with no signs of sickness.
No known health issues.
Age estimated by vet from teeth.
Microchipped, passported, wormed & vaccinated for flue & tetanus.
Feet trimmed every 6 wks.
Not been coltish but when older will need gelded.
Cheap castration clinics normally available up & down the country.
Loves a scratch & a kiss just needs to learn not to groom back.
Friendly, so easy to catch/come when called in stable or field.
Can live in or out with a friend with rug &/or shelter.
Great to walk around farm, on busy roads & through woods etc.
Calm & confident & happy to follow or to take the lead.
Good around kids, the disabled & other ponies.
Good to catch, lead, stroke, tie up, brush, worm, jab & muck out.
So patient when tied up - better than many old kids ponies!
Super to have all four feet picked.
Good to rug up & dress up.
Good to load & travel.
Charms everyone!
Even vet remarks how cute & calm he & his friends are.
Ideal for family, home school or family/person affected by autism.
Petting zoo, community farm or party/therapy pony business too.
Also for disabled youth or mature person just looking for a big pet.
Re-homing fee £450 as seen.
