It's with a really heavy heart we are having to let one of our very loved cats go. We have 4 cats and are moving house and feel we have at least 1 too many.
It's a very tough decision but going on which cats we have had the longest and also the special needs one of our cats need we are letting this beautifully natured one go.
She is the daughter of one of our original cats and is extremely sweet with more of a squeak than a meow.
Her name is Tara, she is 18 months old, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and has been treated for worms and fleas and is fully litter trained although she knows to go outside also.
She is a little timid and nervous until she gets to know you, loves to sleep next to or on your lap and loves tickles and strokes once she trusts you. She understands "No" and "Get down" and is used to children and other cats but we think she suits a quiet household where she will get the love, play and affection she adores. She loves the warm indoors but also loves the garden too, she never ventures out of it or goes off exploring the neighbourhood but she will need a cat-flap to come and go as she pleases.
All in all she is an absolute sweetheart with a lovely soft nature, when she wants to "wash" you she loves to gently nibble your fingers and has a very soft purr which doesn't take much to get going.
We are only going to re-home her to the most loving, caring home where we can be sure she will be safe and happy as it will be an upheaval for her to be separated until she adapts and we are sure she will be a lovely addition to someones family.
She eats wet and dry food, Loves the Sheba in Jelly and Whiskers In Gravy food.
Ideally we would like to to re-home, her in the days of our house move circa 13/14 Feb so our other cats will be distracted by the new property and lessen the impact of her not being around and to make the move as stress free as possible.
