We have made the sad decision to sell our beautiful apricot Cockapoo due to resource guarding. Chester is 16 months old as is full of energy. He can wait for food, do lots of commands such as down, wait, stay, sit, roll over, drop, touch. He enjoys walks and running about on the field and playing with other dogs his size. He walks on the lead but doesn't have a great recall however he is learning to come back to the whistle. He will need lots of walks and play. He loves attention and will curl up for snuggles on your lap in the evenings. It is important to know that Chester resource guards and therefore would thrive in a home where the guarding behaviour can be managed/ignored. Chester will guard our children's toys along with high value treats so it is important that his new owners are aware of this. We would recommend that he goes to a home with no children or older children (10+) who can understand his behaviour and to not approach him when he is guarding. Chester enjoys sleeping in his crate and this would be provided for his new loving home; along with his bed, toys, leads and food. He is 7.7kg and has been neutered, up to date with flea and worming and is microchipped. All documentation will be given to new owners.
