We are all extremely fond of this lovable young boy and are looking for a home for him with someone who has previously owned a a Shar Pei and understands the breed.
Ted is a typical Shar Pei, he is extremely devoted, loving and loyal to his family but can be wary of people he doesn’t know coming into his home
He can be unsure of some teenagers, not sure why as he loves children he has met, so for this reason we are looking for a home with either a single person or couple who live alone.
He loves walks and is super friendly to everyone he has met whilst out in the park.
He is good with other dogs however at food time he likes his space and although he eats in the same room as others he will be a bit grumpy if one comes too close until he’s finished.
He travels well in the car.
He is currently in foster care with outdoor cats. He is living with cats in
If they tell him off he respects them but if they run he would chase them however we haven’t seen him show any aggression towards a cat
He is a very friendly boy who loves human company and cuddles.
We cannot rehome with children for the reasons noted above.
All of our animals are cared for in foster homes until they find their forever homes, this gives them time to adjust if they have lived in an outdoor environment.
All of our animals come with 7 days worth of food and 5 weeks insurance from Agria Pet Insurance, as-well as lifetime Rescue Backup. Microchip transfer is completed by us.
Adoption is subject to a home check and adoption contract. In some instances an initial home check may be able to be completed via video call.
