Hiya, I am very reluctantly selling my five year old Eclectus parrot, Pickles, due to some personal reasons that I would be very happy to discuss if needed.
Pickles is an extraordinary bird, who is extremely chatty. He can say multiple phrases and whistles. His favourite sayings are “bye, bye”, “hello”, “i love you”, “good boy” and “peekaboo”. He can play fetch, and enjoys watching the world outside of the window.
He can co habit with other birds, however he will be a little territorial over food. But has never been aggressive. He prefers females over males but as with all parrots needs time to adjust to his new environment. Pickles is also harness trained however he would need re training to get him comfortable using the harness again. He loves a shower and loves his food. He is definitely not a picky eater!
He is very mischievous and enjoys eating plants and swinging off my lampshade! I’m looking for an experienced, passionate owner who knows plenty about parrots and their emotional and physical needs. I will not just be giving him to anyone so good proof of your experience and knowledge on parrot’s is a must have!!!
