Description
🐰 CHOCO LOPS T&C🐰 Chocolate otter white ear - girl Chocolate otter -boy Blue self -boy Black otter - girl Frosty -boy Message for prices 🐰Babies are not ready to leave until at least 10 weeks of age. If a baby is smaller than I would like at 10 weeks then I will hold the baby for longer until I am happy for the baby to leave. This is in the best interests of the bunny and whilst I appreciate it can be disappointing to wait a little longer, it’s best to have the healthiest, happiest start to set up for a happy forever 🥰 🐰The remaining balance for the bunny is to be paid the day before collection if being couriered. Or cash on collection if in person. Bunnies will not leave without being paid for so if being couriered ensure this is paid for in advance! 🐰Deposits are taken to confirm your chosen bunny. This commits you to that bunny and the deposit will be NON refundable and NON transferable. I will not switch deposits between bunnies should you change your mind. A new deposit will be required and you will forfeit the initial deposit at the time of switching bunnies should you change your mind. Deposits are only refundable should the bunny become unwell in my care. 🐰I cannot 100% guarantee the sex of a bunny but they will be to the best of my knowledge at the time of them leaving me. 🐰If you wish for me to have your baby vaccinated I will be happy to do this. I ask for payment to be made at least 24 hours in advance of the confirmed vet appointment- this payment is strictly NON refundable under any circumstances- including if the bunny was to fall ill/die in my care. The deposit will be refundable as above- but NOT the vaccine cost. 🐰My bunnies are all PET HOME ONLY. If I find you have bought a bunny with the intention to breed and have NOT disclosed this prior to placing a deposit on your chosen bunny the deposit will be forfeit and you will lose your bunny. I only work with less than a handful of other breeders who I have a relationship with and have known for many years. I do not sell to any other breeders. 🐰The same applies to if you have bought a bunny on behalf of someone else without telling me. You will lose your deposit and will be blacklisted from purchasing a bunny in the future. 🐰My bunnies only go to forever pet homes that I have vetted and I am happy with. IF circumstances change and you need to rehome your bunny, please get in touch with me FIRST before offering to re home to anyone else. If I have space I will always take the bunny back, or I will help you to rehome to someone that is reputable and vetted by us. 🐰If the bunny is not collected on the day that has been arranged or you do not respond to my messages prior to collection day, I will take that as you are no longer wanting the bunny. I will work down my waiting list looking for a new home & this will result in you losing your deposit. I will try to make contact twice by messenger. 🐰If you are unable to collect your bunny on the day agreed and need to delay collection, I will add on £1 per bunny per day until collection has happened. Our babies are fed the best and need a lot of feed to help them grow! Keeping buns weeks past their due date to leave means I have to continue to pay for extra feed and housing that I wasn’t expecting. Especially when we have more babies here. It also means I can’t give mums the rest that they are due. 🐰I do accept pet couriers if you wish to use one. Message me for details as I can forward over details of those I will use. 🐰Prior to collection I will require a picture of your set up to make sure it’s suitable as french lops need a lot of space. If I do not receive a picture I will refuse collection. 🐰Waiting Lists: If you wish to be added to our waiting list a fee of £10 will be required. This fee will give you refusal over the available kits in a litter before these babies are then offered out on our page/ socials/advertising websites. This fee is not refundable once paid. However if there is not a suitable baby in the litter you may wait until the next litters for a suitable baby. The price of a baby is ON TOP OF the waiting list fee. This fee gives you first pic over everyone else to ensure you don’t miss out on your favourite baby. I work through my list in order of who has been waiting the longest. Thank you Choco lops looking forward to hearing from you🐰💜

Buyer's checklist for rabbits

1

Be responsible, do your research first

Getting rabbits is a massive commitment, so make sure you have researched all of their general needs, and those specific to their breed fully and have the time and commitment necessary to care for the rabbits. You can read our detailed information guide about rabbits for potential new rabbit owners. If you are looking for a rabbit to keep your rabbit company remember that they will both need to be neutered and that a male / female pair works best. Rabbits are a long term commitment as they can live up to 10 years.

2

Rabbits need a friend and space

Rabbits should never be kept alone, they need the company of other (neutered) rabbits. They need space to stand, hop, jump and run, and safe places for hiding. The absolute minimum space required 24/7 for up to 2 average sized rabbits is area 3m x 2m x 1m high.

3

Health check & welfare

It can be difficult for the average person to check if a rabbit is healthy or not. The seller should be willing to let you take the rabbit to a vet of your choice for a health check and return the pet within 48 hours for a full refund if there are health issues. If the rabbit has already been health checked, make sure you have this documented and phone their vet. Also remember rabbits need to be neutered so that they can live with other rabbits, and vaccinated annually to protect them against myxomatosis and RVHD1 and 2. Register with a rabbit friendly veterinary Practice. We would advise that you read the following article containing rabbit care and welfare information provided by the Rabbit Welfare Association and Fund (RWAF).

4

Report, don’t support!

If you believe a rabbit may be subject to irresponsible breeding, do not “rescue” the rabbit by rehoming it. Walk away and report the seller to us immediately.

5

Rabbits must be 8 weeks when collected

Rabbits must be at least 8 weeks old and fully weaned before they can leave their mothers. Most responsible sellers will keep their rabbits longer than this before they let them go to new homes. Make sure you take some of the food with you so you can change over to your own food gradually.
