Our two silkie bantam cockerels are in need of a new home. They’re inseparable and have been since they hatched.
Unfortunately, a younger cockerel has ousted them and because I don’t want to separate these two - and want to reduce numbers - it makes sense for them to go.
They’ve been bullied by the other cockerel so are now separate from the flock.
They need some chickens of their own now! The white one is naturally more dominant and vocal, although they both do their fair share of crowing.
They hatched in spring 2023 from a previous silkie cockerel and silkie hen.
The children know them as Lindsay & Bicbic.
Would love them to have a forever home where they can be back at the top of the pecking order.
