Meet Dave (DOB 5/5/19) ❤️ Dave is neutered, microchipped fully vaccinated, up-to-date with flea and worm treatments and has an up-to-date EU passport. Dave is currently in foster in Ayr, Scotland. Dave came over from Romania in September where he had lived on a chain for his entire life. He is the father of Clovis (our beaten, blind boy) and “husband” of Dora (Clovis’ mum). We do not know Dave parentage, but he looks very much like a Transylvania Hound and is truly a stunning looking lad. Personality wise has just the sweetest of natures and loves of nothing more than to play fetch with his ball and would let you throw it all day if you have the time . Dave lived with Clovis and Dora in Romania before he was rescued and lived with other females in the shelter while she was waiting to travel and has no issues with male dogs when out and walks and doesn’t bother with the dogs that surround his pen in the rescue here. Dave is an active younger dog and as such, we are looking for an active home for him. He has not been tested around children, so even though we think he will be fine with them, we are looking for a child free home for him. As Dave loves to chase his ball so much he will need to go to a home with a secure garden and with a family who have an active life. I do not see him in a home where his daily routine would just be to go for a walk round the streets and would love to see him in a home where he will be constantly going out for “adventures”.
