Murphy can consider himself a very lucky boy in more ways than one
Abandoned in the mountains of Cyprus by his cruel hunter owner , left to die , he made his way to the local village where he was rescued .Then , whilst at the shelter, he was bitten by a viper resulting in him fighting for his life at the vets for 3 days .He was very fortunate to have survived. Following these experiences and for his well being , the decision was made for Murphy to gain his ticket on the freedom plane to the UK as a foster dog where again he's been lucky enough to stay with a wonderful foster family.
Murphy has come on in leaps and bounds since he arrived , adapting to UK homelife remarkably well
He has learnt how to live in a home, is housetrained and settles through the night without issues.
We've discovered he has a cheeky, fun loving side to his character. He adores the company of humans and dogs alike and loves playing with the 3 dogs he currently lives with. He shares his toys nicely , tug is his favorite game to play with both dogs and humans.
Murphy has shown no signs of resource guarding at all.
He is a sensitive, gentle , loving boy who loves to snuggle on sofas with his humans
Murphy 's ideal forever home would be
a home with another dog / dogs , due to his sensitive nature Murphy feels more secure when he is in the company of other dogs and or people most of the time. He can struggle a little when left entirely alone so someone at home with him the majority of the time would be ideal to build his confidence.
Training is a working process , he enjoys learning, gentle, fitness guidance is all he requires. He now jumps in and out of the car and is becoming more confident being out and about on a lead.
He has just discovered the joy of Zommies - a sure sign that he is feeling secure in himself and his environment.
Murphy will chase small furries , so he cannot live with cats and we would advise that any children be over 10 years old.
Human companionship is what matters to Murphy the most and so people around to give him attention and love is what he'd appreciate above anything .
He's grown very fond of his foster mum and dad.
He's a loyal soul who we know would show his adoptive family that same love and loyalty once he'd got to know them.
It would be ideal if his new parents came to visit him a few times to build up his trust . It didn't take him long to feel comfortable in his foster home , faster than we expected!
Murphy's life so far has been full of ups and downs. He is ready now for a stable and loving home where he can say for sure, this is forever !
