DescriptionThese two bonded cockatiels must go together, they are fully hand tame. i’m having to rehome these guys due to allergies and my work situation changing and ill be doing more unsociable hours and ill be away 12 hours a day which isn’t good enough for birds, especially these birds as they are the most friendly, loving, attached birds i’ve ever met. Once they warm up to you, there’s no chance of getting them away.
they will be going with their cage, toys, food (what’s left), treats and air purifier. their cage is quite large and heavy but it’s a great cage so i really do recommend taking it, but if you do then you’ll have to have a big enough car (i’ll send the measurements if you need as i struggled to get it in my car)
i will only be giving them away to someone who i feel can look after them properly. i will only rehome them to you if, you have an income to keep up with their care (buying toys as they shred them, buying veggies every couple weeks to make their chop, buying their dry food and treats, paying for vet care). and only if you are home enough time during the day to look after them (of course no one can be home 24/7 but at least times to wake them up and put them to sleep at good times so they get decent hours of sleep, also interacting with you is very important to them as they love human interaction) and you must at least be 18+, with no kids or other animals (of course there’s exceptions to this like older kids etc (so please message and we can sort it out) and only if you can promise to let them out of their cage to free fly around morning till bedtime as they can’t stand being in their cage and will scream.
The males name is Bo (although they never really learned their name) and he is the most lovely bird ever. he loves scratches and falling asleep on you while you relax, he comes up and kisses you and goes “mmmmuahhh” and pushes his beak against your mouth. he does this every morning and any chance he can get, which is why it is so heartbreaking to have to give them up and why they will only go to someone who meets my criteria to be able to look after them.
the females name is beau (again not learned) she is more shy and preferably left alone, she doesn’t like scratches but she will enjoy sitting on your shoulder quietly or playing in your hair. she is very quiet and almost never chirps (unlike her brother who loves singing) they are both twins and is hard to tell who is who at first but once you learn their very unique personalities they are polar opposites.
i bought them both from a breeder and had some sickness a year ago when i first bought them home, which they were treated for and hasn’t bothered them again since. currently i don’t cut their nail’s myself as i don’t trust myself so they do get their nails trimmed at the vet which is cheap and a lot less hassle.
message me if you want more photos/information
(these will go to a home for free if you prove you meet the criteria)
