Hi all,
Unfortunately I am unable to care for my lovely parrot Zazu anymore and therefore are looking for a loving, knowledgeable, home for him. I am able to discuss my situation if necessary. I may lower price for the right person.
Zazu is a wonderful Derbyan parrot. He’s very chatty, he can say a few phrases such as “hello”, “I love you Zazu”, “Kisses”, “Good boy” and my favourite is “Kira get off the bed!!” Typical of his breed, he loves to chew wood and anything he can get his claws on! He will destroy a toy in seconds! He’s not a fussy eater and will eat his fruit and vegetables, he also loves pellets and of course nuts and seeds. He will come with a cage and some bits and pieces.
I’m looking for a knowledgeable home for him. Someone who has experience with parrots - especially destructive and noisy ones (as Zazu can be known to scream occasionally) and who will be able to let him out of his cage as much as possible as he loves to roam and fly about. He is great with other birds, except for when he has to share his food. I will not be selling him to anyone, therefore proof of experience or knowledge must be given please!
