MILES is being looked after by HEREFORD AND WORCESTER ANIMAL RESCUE
Darling Milo is beautiful, sweet and kind.
Sadly, this poor boy joined us as a stray, he had been running scared on a farm in the Herefordshire countryside for nearly a week before the kind family finally caught him and got him to safety.
Miles had many superficial injuries and was incredibly nervous, he would cower to the ground everytime we tried to touch him. After being here for over a week, our gorgeous lad is full of beans, loves to play bow and even smiles at us. He melts our hearts.
New environments are still a little overwhelming and he returns to the timid young lad with his tail tucked under his tummy.
Miles recently found himself a lovely foster family but sadly the resident dog didn’t appreciate Miles’ playful character once he had settled in and felt safe enough to show his wonderful puppy like personality, Miles now continues his search for adoption.
Miles is still nervous of new people and will avoid being touched by new, unknown hands but within a couple of minutes he gains enough courage to make friends.
Once a friendship has been made, his confidence begins to grow until, before you know it he’s play-bowing in front of you and throwing his favourite toys around and inviting you to play.
We are looking for a family that can offer a calm and quiet environment where Miles can continue to gain his confidence with people he can trust.
Miles would love a kind doggy friend to share his new life with, he particularly enjoys the company of other sighthounds.
A home without small furries would be needed as a precaution.
Any children living within the home would need to be at least 8 years old+ and respectful to Miles’ timid nature initially.
