PLEASE, MEET COOPER. He is an adorable, peaceful, healthy, well-handled, well-trained, sweet but unspoiled 7+ months old, liver-chestnut, Mini-Shetland x Welsh A colt foal/young rescue pony likely to make max.10.2hh. Does not kick or bite & is not pushy as he has not had treats/not been hand fed. In fact so easy. Hence, ideal size & nature for family pet/future lead rein where the family want baby & foal to grow up together. Also great therapy project for petting zoo, therapy centre, SEN project or community farm & ideal for autistic or mature person looking for big pet or companion.
Willingness to learn more important than experience.
Happy to help people to get started & (if wanted) to stay in touch.
Microchipped & Passported & person gets full ownership.
Been through isolation with no sign of sickness.
Wormed & vaccinated (1st Flue & Tetanus).
Feet have been Trimmed here by farrier every six weeks.
Kindly tamed, well handled & well-trained by experienced trainers.
Great to be caught usually comes up & puts head in the headcollar.
Stands so nicely & patiently tied up to wait his turn for vet etc. Good to rug up, brush & fuss over - loves a scratch & gives kisses.
Fine to worm, jab & pick feet but can be bit unsure with back feet.
Good to lead on farm/woods bit nervy on busy roads but learning.
Can live in or out, is good with other ponies & lived in a mixed herd.
When older will need gelded but cheap UK clinics usually available.
So good for vet/farrier/helpers - just steals their hearts!
Re-Homing fee only £450 as seen, not for profit.
A steal for how good he is & all he has had done.
Open to viewing & vetting & honest advise given.
Must be kind, able to afford & have suitable place to keep the pony. We can't re-home unseen but tell us a bit more & come meet him.
