Description
This is Indy. Short for Indiana Jones—because he's a little adventurer, a survivor, and a brave soul despite everything life has thrown at him.
Indy is a beautiful mixed breed with soulful eyes and the gentlest heart. But please don’t let his looks distract you from what really matters: Indy is not just looking for a home—he needs the right home. One that understands his past, his fears, and most importantly, his incredible potential.
A Bit About His Story
Indy was found as a tiny puppy, zipped in a closed bag with his siblings—left to die. He survived that trauma, but the scars are still with him. On top of that, we lived for a time in an abusive household, where Indy had to witness pain and fear but wasn’t allowed to react. He learned to stay quiet, to hide his feelings. It broke my heart.
Today, Indy is safe—but he’s still anxious, still nervous. He’s scared of loud noises (fireworks, thunder, even strong winds), and doesn’t trust easily. But—and this is the most important part—once he does trust you, he is the sweetest, most loving dog you will ever meet. My current partner gained his trust, and Indy now plays with soft toys and even comes in for cuddles—something he once completely avoided.
He needs a quiet, calm home—no chaos, no loud voices, no other animals if possible, a person who is all about him—someone patient, consistent, gentle, and willing to work for his trust.
Rehoming Indy is not what I want—it’s what I have to do. I love him more than I can say, but I can’t give him the life he deserves right now. It breaks my heart, but keeping him in a situation where he’s not thriving would be even worse.
If you think you might be Indy’s person—his true human—please reach out. Even if you’re not sure, let’s talk. Maybe you’re the one he’s been waiting for.
