Barney, age 3, show cocker spaniel. It is with a heavy heart we are looking for a new forever home for Barney, our circumstances have changed and we can no longer meet Barney's energetic nature.
Barney loves walking and he loves chasing a tennis ball. He can walk and run for miles. He walks well on lead, his recall is good and he understands basic commands. Barney has been crated trained from a puppy.
Barney currently lives with an older dog, children and cats in the past.
He loves people, other animals
We currently are struggling to meet his busy needs with both our working schedules have changed since we got him. He ideally needs someone who doesn't work long hours and can walk him daily.
We must mention that when we have had to leave him with family or friends overnight, he has a tendency to howl at night in unknown territory - we suspect he would do this whilst settling in. He doesn't do this with us, but we don't want anyone getting a shock. Some family members have got round this by putting his crate in their bedroom. At home he happily sleeps in his crate, in the utility room with no problems.
He has so much love to give, bundles of energy and will make a lovely pet for the right person.
