Description
We are pleased to announce that our waiting list for 2025/2026 litters is now OPEN!
We are aiming for our next litters to be born in September 2025 & are expecting Snow and Snow Charcoal babies.
We only breed our queens (adult females) when we have enough people on our waiting list. This is to ensure that our kittens all find their forever homes quickly and, crucially, to ensure our queens aren't bred unnecessarily or overbred.
Our adult cats are all our family pets first and foremost and all live in our home with us (sleeping on, or in some cases...in...our beds 😆) and all our kittens are born and raised in our living room, having the run of the house by 8 weeks of age with mum. For this reason, we only raise one litter at a time so that we can dedicate plenty of time to each and every kitten we raise.
We have deliberately kept our breeding programme small as we breed for the love of the Bengal breed (and having a regular supply of kittens to play with and dote on might have been a small a factor in our decision to breed!) and we DO NOT breed for profit.
We do ask for a deposit of £100 to join our waiting list, which is dedicated from the final balance of your chosen kitten.
This is to ensure that anyone joining the list is 100% committed to purchasing one of our Bengals and not just window shopping or time wasting.
We want to know that everyone on our waiting list has researched the breed & knows exactly what they're getting with a Bengal, as the breed isn't for everyone.
We will ask plenty of questions & encourage you to ask us lots of questions as well because we pride ourselves on our expertise and our relationship with our kitten clients. We are completely transparent, as all good breeders should be.
To enquire about joining our waiting list please send us a message either on here, via WhatsApp or our Facebook page (SerendipityUK Bengal cats).
🐾 WHAT DO YOU GET WHEN YOU PURCHASE A SERENDIPITY BENGAL KITTEN? 🐾
🐾 A kitten that is first and foremost, old enough to be sold!
The TICA code of ethics requires that breeders only sell kittens from 13 weeks of age and older. This is due to the fact that between 10-12 weeks old, kittens are learning 'manners' from mum and littermates. They still suckle from their mum for comfort when trying to fall asleep, they are learning boundaries that only another cat can teach them. This is an important time and no ethical breeder would home a kitten under the age of 13 weeks.
🐾 A kitten that is flea treated, wormed and is from parents that are genetically tested against ALL transmissible diseases and conditions, some of which can be fatal.
This includes HCM echocardiograms which we carry out annually, faecal testing for parasites which cause diarrhea and vomiting (carried out twice yearly) and lung panels which test for upper respiratory infections.
🐾 A kitten that has been born and raised in our family home. We have children that are actively involved in raising and socialising our kittens, playing with & handling them from birth until they leave us as confident, happy, social, 'bombproof' kittens.
The proof of the pudding is when our babies go to their new homes and without fail, within two hours we are sent a photo of our much loved kitten snuggled in the arms of their new owner, without a care in the world 🩷
🐾 A kitten that has been bred from parents with breeding rights! Sounds obvious, doesn't it? But many so-called 'backyard breeders' purchase kittens on pet contracts, promise to neuter or spay by 6 months of age and then breed the poor cats anyway, against the original breeder's knowledge. This is why we spay/neuter ALL pet kittens before selling, to protect our precious babies but also the Bengal gene pool which is already full of HCM & genetic issues. All our breeding cats are TICA registered on the Active register.
🐾 A kitten from parents that are as close to a year old as possible, before being bred. This is the age when Bengals are fully grown and is especially important with females, but you shouldn't risk breeding from underage males either. There is no rush; we like to wait until our cats are 1-1.5 before we breed them and retire them after 2-3, litters to ensure they are able to enjoy a pet life for as long as possible once they are retired from breeding.
🐾 All our kittens also leave us: 🐾
✔️ Fully vaccinated against panleukopenia, feline calicivirus and feline herpes (otherwise known as 'cat flu'). We also choose to vaccinate against Feline Leukaemia virus.
✔️ Microchipped - it is now law that kittens must be microchipped by 6 months of age.
✔️ TICA registered as a litter and each kitten is provided with their own breeder slip for individual registration.
✔️ Spayed or neutered.
✔️ With a copy of their 5 generation pedigree, showing their lineage and enabling you in some cases to trace back to the original ALC used in their lines.
✔️ With hard copies of parents genetic testing and HCM reports dated within the last 12 months.
✔️ With a 12-month health guarantee and a 2-year HCM guarantee.
✔️ With a pet contract, read and signed by yourself and us detailing all the terms of sale. We send this via email so you can check the terms well before your collection date, so you don't feel pressured into signing anything youre not 100% comfortable with.
✔️ With 5 weeks FREE Agria pet insurance to cover you for any accidents when kitten arrives home.
✔️ With lots of toys, treats, blankets with mum and littermates scent, cat litter & raw food kitten has been raised on, plus a personalised care sheet with your kitten's individual likes and dislikes, photo album and settling in instructions.
And most importantly, we are here for any questions or concerns you may have, 24/7 for the lifetime of your kitten. We pride ourselves on client satisfaction and love to know how you are getting on with your new bundle of joy ❤️
