Peanut is a 4.5 kilo chihuahua type, castrated male.
He is a very special little boy because he survived immense cruelty, neglect and starvation but he never gave up his will to live or his love of people.
He has recently been castrated and had surgery on his damaged eye (no further treatment will be required) and he is gaining weight rapidly.
He is looking for a quiet home with kind people and a secure garden.
He is understandably shy when he first meets new people but he bonds quickly, especially with women and is very affectionate.
He is such a happy, gentle, quiet and very grateful little sweetheart and is a pleasure to live with.
He would love to have someone around as much as possible because he doesn't like being left, he just loves being with his family.
He is toilet trained, very good in the car, has great recall and is learning to walk on a harness and lead. He lives with 25 dogs and gets on with them all. He prefers the calm ones, females in particular. He doesn't like excitable males and will square up to them but I can call him away. He will need to continue his lead training and gain experience in society but he is very willing and very food orientated which is great for training.
