In Maya’s own words:-
I’m a little shy but very friendly. When I first came tp my lovely foster mum I was wary of everthing even the television. But now I am learning not to be scared and can really start to enjoy life. I love every dog I meet be they big or small. I have some very small foster siblings so when I play with them I try and make myself as small as possible so I don’t scare them. I love sleeping and I am so good at night. I don’t make a sound. Even though I have never lived in a home before I know to go out in the garden to go to toilet. I have even learnt to use the catflap.
I am told I am absolutely brilliant off the lead. I love the freedom and I always come back when I am called, I am affectionate and love cuddles.
My foster mummy told me I am a really good girl and that made me so happy. I am still smiling.
Her Story
Maya has lived all her life in a ‘cell’. She had her brother and sister for company but their lives were so empty with little socialisation and stimulation. Even though we had no open foster homes we could not leave them so brought them to our kennels in Wiltshire. .
Thankfully a foster home eventually became available.
Maya comes with full rescue back up. Adoption donation and home check apply.
