This lovely soul was found almost dead - bitten by other dogs in a kill “shelter”. Most likely, that was his luck (being so wounded) - as our fellow rescuer was so impressed by his state and she decided to take him out of the Death Row straight to a Vet Hospital in Bucharest - where he recovered perfectly ; otherwise he would have been put down by those horrible “people” there or he would have died of his wounds... (Some photos taken after his intensive care – attached here)

Smart, active and well behaved, SAMMY is very friendly with people and other dogs. He is a bit nervous around children - therefore, an adult person or family will be preferred.
In spite his bad memories, he loves playing with some dogs and, obviously, he loves human affection !
SAMMY is a medium size boy, weighing now 24 Kg. He needs to loose at least 8 Kg...: a year ago, we rehomed him with a young family - who is moving to Australia and ... luckily, they decided to return Sammy to us rather than flying him there... We ... no comment !
You can meet him in our place - NG14 6NY, but we can also bring him (or any of our available “babies”), at no extra cost, almost anywhere in the country and you don’t have to pay a penny until you have him. For Scotland - we normally do only one journey per month, but we can organise something in-between, if needed.
For everybody’s peace of mind, SAMMY had a full set of blood tests - 4Dx and Brucella.

Home-Check (even done online, at times) is mandatory.
We do NOT supply dogs to non-genuine Dog-Loving people. There are all kind out there... can’t be too careful !
You must have your own garden and no children under 10 years old to adopt a dog from our Rescue.
We do not supply work, assistance or service dogs, regardless of what noble/moral that would be ! The dog you adopt from our organisation will reside as a PET in your Home and will be well looked-after and loved !
Our preferred method of contact is over the phone or WhatsApp - as we work during the day, with limited access to emails ; it is also more expedient - we can exchange most information in one go.
We are a 100% genuine and transparent Rescue and are doing substantial efforts to save these lives. We reserve the right to ask any / different price / donation for our rescue dogs or cats - depending on circumstances. In Sammy’s case, we are probably going to recover a quarter of the costs.
We keep in touch with all adopters (more than 400 families, so far). On request, we can obtain & provide very good references from any of them. Should you adopt a rescue dog from us - you will agree to keep in touch with us - so we can help with any issues.
We receive a high number of pointless messages or calls and we do not afford wasting time…
So, Please, Please - NO TIMEWASTERS !
