Rufa has been waiting a longtime for a forever home, she's a sweet girl who absolutely loves her walks and mooching about the garden, she pretty good on the lead but occasionally pulls (generally because of those naughty squirrels). She is currently in foster in Nottingham.
She's currently living with another dog with no issues even eating together without any grumbles and loves having doggy visitors over. She does like to have a chase about with other dogs at home but not when on her walks preferring to follow her nose.
Rufa jumps in an out of the car perfectly and doesn't mind long drives (we regularly do a couple of hours in the car to visit family).
In the house she's very calm and spends most of her time sleeping but she does enjoy a game of fetch or tug of war when the mood strikes, for this reason I think she'd prefer a quieter house with older kids, having said that she has no problem being round my niece (5) or nephew (13).
She's an independent soul but loves a good fuss and thoroughly enjoys being groomed. She'd be a much loved member of any household in no time.

Please note: We are looking for a secure garden with fencing or walls to a minimum of 5ft. We also need to the dogs to be kept on a lead, long lunge lead or for people to use enclosed fields for off lead exercise as these dogs are scent hounds & have hunting backgrounds.
We do not rehome with children under 8 years old.
