Based in Northampton NN3 .
Hera is about 3.5 years old. We don’t know exact date of birth because she was rescued in Bulgaria from death on streets, but she is very young.
We don’t know for sure if Hera is full Whippet or she mix, we only judging her breed by her exterior and behaviour which matching Whippet.
Hera is amazing personality girl. She has calm temperament and very loving nature. She is gentle, intelligent and gets on well with everyone. She is good with children and other dogs. She is confident and stable.
She is housetrained, good in car.
Hera’s recall is good but she loves chasing rabbits and sometimes she runs after them and nothing can stop her, but she always comes back.
Sometimes she catches and kill her pray. The pray drive is in her genes, because she is Whippet, so we expect that people who would apply to adopt Hera should understand the nature of Whippet and not being urban-minded or squeamish.
We don’t want Hera to end up in hands of people who will not be able accept her nature and destine Hera to “lead only” walks restricting her from good run.
We use tracker for Hera, it helps when she disappears in bushes. Hera never been lost and her disappearance only lasts 2-3 minutes and she always comes back on call and treats.
Hera is on natural raw food diet. She is very food focused and she is great eater. She was starved when we rescued her, so this experience impacted on her attitude towards food- she ready to eat any time ))
Hera is very healthy girl. She is fully vaccinated, microchiped, spayed.
