- Parents -
Mum is Maggie, our beautiful F3b miniature chocolate Labradoodle. She is nearly five years old, and this is her third litter. We also have her mum Molly (aged 11) too, who has had three successful litters. Meeting Molly will also give you a really good idea of how Labradoodles change as they age. There will be three generations in the house to meet.
Maggie is PRA clear, has an evenly spread hip score of 12 (6/6) and an elbow score of 0. She is a loving dog with a wonderfully gentle temperament and enjoys both cuddling on the sofa and long walks. She has a thick curly coat, doesn’t moult and is approximately 19 inches to the shoulder.
The dad of our litter is Ronnie, a gorgeous multigen miniature Labradoodle. He is also PRA clear, has a hip score of 8 (4/4) and an elbow score of 1. Ronnie is DNA clear for prcd-PR and vWD. Ronnie has an apricot/honey coloured thick wavy coat. He is a proven stud with a loving and calm temperament, living in a family house based 90 minutes from us and could be seen with prior arrangement. Ronnie is approximately 21 inches to the shoulder. He is shown in our last photo.
- Responsible breeding -
As Labradoodles are a crossbreed there is no formal regulation over breeding, as there is for pedigree dogs. However, there is an excellent voluntary code of practice exercised by the UK Labradoodle Association put in place to ensure safe and careful breeding with all necessary breed specific health testing completed (Hips, Elbows and Eyes). We comply with the UK Labradoodle Association Breeders Code of Practice.
- Viewings -
We always carry out face-to-face viewings, this enables us to meet properly and for you to get a feel for our surroundings and our setup. We want new owners to feel confident in us, our approach and our lovely pups.
We anticipate viewings to be 8/9 March when the pups are four and a half weeks old. We are based in south Herefordshire and live on a smallholding in a secluded rural hamlet.
Taking on a dog is a big decision and we are committed to finding the best home for all our pups. Please expect us to ask you some questions about your experience with dogs, your working pattern and your lifestyle, if you contact us.
A deposit of £500 is required to secure the puppy of your choice, at the time of viewing.

- Puppies -
Labradoodle coats are difficult to predict, based on Maggie and Ronnie the pups are highly likely to have a mix of thick curly and wavy coats, but please bear in mind coats can change as they grow older both in colour and type. It is very unlikely they will moult based on their parentage; however, no breeder can wholeheartedly guarantee this. The pups should grow to a similar size to their parents, in the region of 19 – 21 inches to the shoulder.
Families from our last litter have kindly approved the use of their photos, to help share how their pups have grown. They are currently 14 months old.
- Rearing -
The pups are reared in our home and kept warm by our cosy wood burner in our sitting room. They will be very used to adults and children (we have a five-year-old), as well as the usual household noises.
As they get older, they will have time during the day exploring the house and when its slightly warmer, our paddock outside.
They will be treated for worms with Panacur (2, 5 & 8 weeks) and fleas & ticks with Frontline (at 8 weeks). We will have paper trained them too.
Each puppy will be microchipped and vet checked. There will be a letter from our vet to new owners confirming our puppies are in good health.
We are more than happy to vaccinate at the time of their health check, if it matches the vaccination offered at your practice. This will be an additional cost.
They will be ready to leave with their new families when they are 8 weeks old (from 2 April).
- Puppy Pack -
New owners will be presented with a puppy pack, in which you'll receive:
