Very sadly Charlie is a handsome young Cocker looking for his new home.
We purchased Charlie just 3 weeks ago after his owners had to re-home him due to a marital split. He has settled with us very quickly, we have reg'd him with a local vet where he has had a full medical, he also had a haircut and grooming by a dog groomer. He is crate trained, walks very well to heel for a positive walker, he sits and waits for his food and is overall a very loving and healthy dog.
His recall needs work but will come.
We own a local sightseeing passenger boat service and we bought Charlie to come out with us every day to enjoy and to meet the customers, and to have a wonderful outdoor social life.
Unfortunately we have seen signs that mean that this lifestyle would not be suitable for him.
Although he is absolutely lovely, and loves people, especially children, he did snap and bit me last night when he was reluctant to leave the fireplace and go to bed. He just caught my hand so it wasn’t particularly bad.
Although I think that it's v unlikely we just can't take the chance that he may bite one of our customers in the future. Other options such as a muzzle or crating etc we think would be unfair to him, as such we sadly must find hime a new home.
Frankly if we had him just as a pet, even if we had children then we would keep him forever but that's not the case for us where the public are involved.
He will come with two crates, and new bed toys and leads.
