I'm currently fostering these 4 boys who have come to me through no fault of their own, they have previously lived in a larger group and have not spent a lot of time outside the safety of their cage. They are not aggressive, but are very nervous of handling/interaction, they have happily taken food from hands, and have ventured as far as the sofa next to their cage at present (with great encouragement).
They have been treated for mites as precaution and their weight is being monitored, but they have a clean bill of health.
Ebony- Black Berkshire top ear. He is the most nervous of the 4 & will need the most understanding, he is a very sweet boy who will take food from your hands.
Oak- Chocolate self top ear. One of the 2 more confident rats, will allow a light stroke, transfer holding & takes food politely.
Pine- Striped Roan top ear. The most confident, allows a light stroke and doesn't mind being held.
Cedar- Siamese top ear. He is, quite frankly - Blind as a bat, and needs a confident handler.
These boys can come with a cage to house them temporarily as they didn't come with one originally, but you would probably want to upgrade them if you don't currently own rats at some stage, they can also come with a carrier for transport.
