We are looking to find a forever home for our lovely beagle Milo.
Milo is 3.5 years old (DOB 02/07/2021). Milo came to us at 6 months old after having 3 previous owners (lockdown puppy) but it was suspected he possibly came from a beagle testing site originally so he had a rocky start to life.
Milo is very loving, cuddly and typical beagle in the sense that he loves a good sniff and the outdoors.
Milo's recall is good although he does often follow his nose (but will come back once bored)!!
Milo has lived with a JRT bitch and they play wonderfully, he does get on with bitches and neutered males however gets overwhelmed by larger breads such as German Shepherd like dogs and therefore would benefit from living on his own with a human companion who has lots of time to give him.
Milo is neutered and up to date with all flea and worming treatments.
Milo has had a couple of teeth removed due to an overbite which has overall made him a lot happier and he recovered well from this (around 1.5 years ago).
Milo is also micro chipped and insured.
Milo is a bit of a chewer and is cheeky around some items that are not his although will do a trade off for a treat! (Usually a tea towel or sock). Milo is fully house trained.
Due to no fault of Milo's, our family situation has recently changed, we now have a small baby and feel that we are unable to give Milo the time he needs to 'just be a beagle'. It is with a heavy heart to consider rehoming him and we are looking for someone to take on our boy who is experienced with dogs and can give him the time and love he deserves to be a beagle.
This decision has not come lightly and we've loved the past 3 years with him. We would be happy to stay in touch with his new family if they wish to.
We want the right home for him so do not want to rush into a decision unless Milo and his new owner are happy. We do not want anything for him but want to find the perfect home.
