Darcey is a beautiful, intelligent girl who forms strong bonds with her person. Once she trusts you, she is affectionate, funny and deeply loyal. The kind of dog who makes you feel like her whole world.
She is around 2 years old but DOB unknown and originally from Romania. Darcey came to me for training and is now looking for her perfect forever home. She is happiest when things are calm and consistent, and she knows what to expect day to day.
With strangers Darcey can be cautious in close proximity, especially in the home, she will happily be around and take food from people she does not know but would rather not have her personal space invaded. I believe a child free home would be best for Darcey and needs a home that understands how to give dogs space and build trust gently.
She is brilliant with other dogs, social & playful. She could happily live amongst other balanced happy dogs.
Darcey is able to settle well in busy environments and has joined me on many pub and cafe visits. She happily curls up for a snooze even when it is busy. She loves to explore, has mega food drive which is great for training and loves her flirt pole, great for expelling all that extra energy.
Darcey is crate trained and when overwhelmed she will take herself off to her crate or bed to decompress, it would be ideal that someone has the space and understanding of Darcey’s need to decompress. She is clear with her signals and just needs someone who will listen to her and help her feel safe.
The right home for Darcey:
- adult only, dog savvy home with experience in rescue and more complex dogs.
- a calm structured environment where she wont be pushed too quickly or overwhelmed.
- someone will to keep working on her training and confidence at her own pace.
- she could happily live with the right dogs, ideally balanced and respectful of space.
Darcey comes with:

- place trained to settle in the house

Darcey is a lovely, sweet girl who just needs someone to understand her. In the right hands , she will be a fun, devoted and incredibly rewarding companion.
