This is one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make due to how much Millie means to me. I rescued her at 4 1/2 years old after she was used for breeding purposes and she had a new lease of life and gained a best friend with Pablo the pug.
Millie loves playtime tug of war, walks and cuddles. She is very affectionate with humans and just loves cuddles.
Good around kids however I would say no children under 5.
Regrettably, over the past year she has shows signs of aggression to small dogs on walks. I have trained her to listen and focus on me and not pull however this is to set expectations. I do not trust her enough off the lead unless I know there is no risk. That being said she is around other dogs and fine. But this comes with trust and working with other dogs off lead. In addition she has shown concerns around babies and after bringing my baby home from hospital when born prematurely I have had to make this decision much quicker than I’d have liked.
I feel Millie would be best suited in a home with no other pets, where she is given walks and attention and not left alone all day. She will struggle going from a 3 dog home and I do worry about this impact, for any loud noises she does cower and has done since I got her so I am unsure if any previous issues that caused this. For 7 1/2 she still lives life like a puppy - no health concerns. She is strong on lead, lots of energy and can show excitement easily.
Because this isn’t a decision come lightly, I need to ensure she is going to a home that is the right environment for her and due to that have put a cost to her. I will be providing her personalised harness and can also provide a lead if needed. Genuine interest only for someone that can look after my beautiful girl.
