No undertaking will be given to home Bentley until prospective owners have visited us and been approved.
Bentley is a healthy, one year old, Classically Marked, Pure Bred, Pedigree, Red, Border Collie male, whom we bred and retained as a training dog for our Trainee Dog Trainers. Bentley’s training is now complete and we are therefore seeking a suitable, permanent, loving new home for Bentley.
Bentley is very people-focussed, intelligent and eager, he is fully trained, affectionate, clean in the house, biddable and willing.
Bentley is strongly people oriented, he is very comfortable in, and enjoys the company of, adults and children he loves to learn tricks.
Bentley is happy living in the company of one or more other dogs but equally content to be a single “child”, with either a single adult for companionship or as a member of a busy household. There must be adequate day-time company for to him enjoy.
Bentley is only moderately active, medium energy but highly interactive, for that reason he needs a home with dedicated and engaged people who ideally have Border Collie experience. Bentley will be homed principally as a friend and companion in a home where he will be loved, included, and his need for affection, stimulation, companionship and ongoing training, will be satisfied, in addition he would love to take part in active canine hobbies with a kind and knowledgeable human partner.
Bentley’s food manners are excellent, he can fed in very close proximity to other dogs and shows no anxiety, he takes rewards nicely and does not show any possessive traits. He
is crate trained, content to relax in a crate overnight and for short periods if required during the day. He is a very good car passenger who settles happily in a car crate and shows no signs of travel sickness or anxiety.
Although Bentley has lived in a rural situation, he has been habituated to urban environments and does not react inappropriately to gunfire or the presence of game birds. His new owner will need to continue to build on his urban confidence.
Bentley was been lovingly bred and reared at MASTAMARINER Border Collies for TEMPERAMENT first, he is from outstanding, parents, with exceptional temperaments. His mother is gentle, kind, biddable, very affectionate and people oriented. His father is an magnificent dog, exceptionally gentle, with a very loving, willing and compliant attitude.
Both Bentley’s parents have faultless temperaments with people and dogs, excellent health and exemplary conformation, like all our Border Collie they are fully health tested, including DNA, with excellent results.
We are experienced, Licensed Breeders, Qualified Dog Trainers and Canine Behavioural Professionals; our dogs are bred with companionship and family placement as the key priority.
Bentley was born and raised in our home in exemplary conditions and from an early age has been thoroughly socialised with adults, children and older dogs. He up to date with vaccinations, has required no veterinary interventions, he is micro-chipped and thoroughly wormed.
Bentley is not to be bred from, we do not home dogs as “breeding stock”, his new Owners must undertake to insure him for life and to contact us for assistance at any time if changed circumstances were ever to force them to part with hem. Bentley will be homed strictly as a companion and family member only, and is not available for export or to any overseas home, his sale agreement will support these exclusions.
All our dogs live in the family home and Bentley will not be homed where there is any intention that he will be kennelled or isolated from his new family.
Prospective enquirers should note the conditions of homing included here and on our website at www.mastamariner.com and if appropriate, contact us by email to provide their circumstantial information, after which we may contact them to arrange an initial telephone interview.
